Programme Co-ordinator
The Programme Co-ordinator is the link between the Executive Committee and the Working Group Moderator.
The Co-ordinator:
-
paticipates in the Professional Session of the Executive Committee meetings and reports the Committee’s decisions to the Working Group Moderators;
-
collects the Moderators' ideas/suggestions and shares them with the Executive Committee;
-
supervises the Working Groups and supports the Moderator if needed;
-
is updated on current issues within the programme area;
-
ensures that regular progress reports are submitted to the Executive Committee and subsequently to the Forum.
Working Group Moderator
The Working Group Moderator leads the Working Group and is the link between the Programme Co-ordinator and the Working Group Members. The Executive Committee designates the Moderator for his/her expertise and/or interest in a specific topic. The topic is materialised by a Working Group for which a meeting and sharing place has been set up as a web-based and password-protected discussion board.
The Moderator:
-
collects relevant reference documents, issued by the WHO, the FIP or national organisations, and shares them in the Working Group;
-
selects relevant scientific and professional articles on the topic;
-
manages and injects dynamism into the Working Group;
-
when needed, organises Working Group meetings (eg telephone conferences) on specific topics;
-
reports at the Annual Meeting on the development of the Working Group that he or she is leading;
-
ensures that the various elements posted and shared on the discussion board of the Working Group are relevant and appropriate.
Working Group Member
The Working Group Member is the link to the national association.
The Member:
-
collects national materials/ideas/plans on the topic and shares it with the Working Group
-
reports on the work in the Working Group to his/her own national association
-
participates in discussions on the web-based discussion board
-
participates in meetings arranged by the Moderator.
