Observatory

– a knowledge and search facility enabling pharmacy practice development

www.europharm.pbworks.com

Press note

For more information, please go directly to the Observatory or consult this information leaflet.

The aim is to provide pharmacists, practitioners, researchers, students of pharmacy and other interested parties with a tool to gain easy, reliable access to information on the developments and experiences within pharmacy practice.

For this purpose, the EuroPharm Forum, in 2009, initiated the construction of an
Observatory – a horizon-scanning tool and document library.

The Observatory contains national and international documents, also links to documents, with specific relevance to pharmacy practice. These have been checked for relevance by professionals before upload/linking, and a search of the Observatory provides a high-quality, filtered result including national, grey literature.

Users seeking information on pharmacy practice issues that have not already been addressed in the Observatory may equally use the site to introduce open discussions with professional peers on topics having their particular interest.

The Observatory is accessible to all. It has been set up as an interactive wiki and will, ideally, find eager contributors world-wide to expand the volume of information in the library. Users who wish to contribute to the Observatory by adding their own documents, national or international, are more than welcome to do so and can request a password directly on the Observatory. Remember: You can only extract from the Observatory what you put in.
